The Mason Jar Electric Sealer Kit operates with a simple one-touch electric vacuum pump.
Place the Mason jar lid on top of the jar, press the sealer down firmly, and click the button to start the vacuum pump. In about 40 seconds, the air is evacuated, creating a vacuum seal. For regular-mouth jars, use the standard mouth seal converter (2 size seals included for small and large mason jars).

I tried it once it didn’t seal the mason jar as I expected. However, I’m still trying to work with it. Well I’m happy to say I finally figured it out when writing my review. I just sealed my homemade garlic and honey cough medicine. Awesome!!! It comes with other tops for sealing a charger and can opener to pry it open when necessary.
